Old photographs
No local has supplied any old local photos for the site as yet - someone must be sitting on some interesting records of times gone by in Great Wishford- please step forward!!
Jan 2010 - just been supplied a photo from 1904 from Amanda Chambers in America with this info:
Her Father's family, the West's, Canning's and Simper's came from Great Wishford.
Her Great Grandmother Agnes West (nee Canning) is 6th from the left.
An australian chap (Warrwick Hoad) has sent in a couple of photos with requests for further info. Can anyone help him?!

I have recently found your webpages. My ancestors are the Henstridges & Newtons from around the Great Wishford/South Newton/Wilton area.
Two photos:
1. CobbMill (?) about 1960. Grandmothers home (Olga Louise Henstridge) before migrating to Australia in about 1920.
2. Newton family photo - Newtons around 1905.
