Edward Scutt is now actively looking for his first customer for a roundhouse in their garden. The structure will be built from cob using traditional building techniques, but fully weatherproofed for all year use, complete with a thatched roof. You can use it however you like - an outdoor quiet retreat, entertaining space away from the house, somewhere to send the kids, anything you like.

A substantial discount will be offered for the first customer, but Edward is already familiar with cob work - he has been restoring and extending his old cob cottage (3 station road) and a local lime expert will be assisting with the technicalities, and the structure will come with a full guarantee.

He has also restored cob and flint panels on the road frontage of the Reading Room at Berwick St James, and repaired and lime rendered the cob walls at Berwick House (approx 50 square metres).
